Being born as human beings we believe we are superior to other creatures as we have the special ability to think. But how capable are we to tap the fullest essence of this special ability is the question mark here.

We are born with six senses. We breathe, eat, sleep and mate like any other living being does. But we just don’t stop there. We think. We try to prove our worth and start dreaming and chasing those dreams. We dream, we question, we find out ways to achieve those dreams, we struggle, we toil and once the dream is achieved, we set another. It’s human nature to fix goals one after another and keep chasing it. We fall into a vicious circle and in the run, we at a point feel saturated and exerted. It is then when we look for a solution, meditation comes into play.
The Secret Ingredient to Happiness:
Meditation, the art of mindfulness is the secret ingredient to a sustained state of happiness, a state of bliss, to be precise. Meditation helps us in reminding and reviving us with the most essential nature of being born as human; contemplation; that we had easily forgotten or overlooked in our racing life. We hardly take time to contemplate on the purpose of this birth or meaning of this life. Forget contemplation, how often have we even made a conscious effort in simply sitting and doing absolutely nothing in a world where everyone finds it as a pride to let others know that they are “busy”. We never bother to take time to look into or even just think about what are we busy with, is it really necessary, is it really productive or is it even beneficial to be busy about something or the other. We are always rushing aimlessly in an endless race where we never ever arrive at a point of contentment. But it’s time that we address this and take conscious effort to live life to its full potential and the only way to go about it is MEDITATION.

Meditation is an art and doesn’t happen in just one day or so. In fact, it’s actually not “doing meditation”, rather it’s “being in a meditative state”. It’s not an action, it’s a process.
